Prof. Dr. Rathindra Nath Dutta, uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to treat unwanted hair painlessly, based on the principle of selective photothermolysis.

According to this principle, hair follicles are damaged without any injury to the surrounding structures.

In this system, unlike lasers, the wavelength range can be adjusted by the use of cut-off filters.

Dr. Dutta also uses LHE Laser Therapy and successfully reduces unwanted hair. Prof. Dutta used to teach his students, the techniques of hair removal.
