At BR Institute of Dermatology and Allied Diseases, Harlem point, Columbia Asia Hospital and other clinics (IPL), our Dermatologist, Prof. Dr. Rathindra Nath Dutta, uses the Microdermabrader to treat sun-damaged skin, fine wrinkles, acne, superficial acne scars, excessive oil secretion and dark patches.

A stream of aluminium oxide crystals (also imported from the USA) removes dead cells, increases blood flow and causes regeneration of epidermal cells and proliferation of dermal collagen.

Microdermabrasion is a painless skin polishing technique, which, in less than 30 minutes, produces a glowing skin. Microdermabrasion also reduces the size of enlarged pores, imparts tightness to loose skin and diminishes hyperpigmentation and fine lines.
